Martyn is a Chartered Accountant who is responsible for the day-to-day running of accounts, completion of all statutory information including the preparation of the annual accounts, Charity Commission returns, vat and tax returns and liaison with the auditors and other statutory bodies.

He is also responsible for overseeing the IBD's compliance with legislation and government directives. In addition Martyn is secretary of the Beer Academy and reports to the Executive Director and O & M Committee.
