Role: Technical Brewer

Everards Brewery is a family owned independent company, established in 1849, based in Leicester.
We are looking for a Technical Brewer who will report into the Second Brewer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing the Laboratory and Packaging Assistants.
- Supporting the management of the Brewing and Packaging sections.
- Organising and supervising the Quality Control Laboratory.
- Providing accurate Quality Control measurement, analysis, records and reports to meet the requirements of Everards Production, Trade and Partner Brewers.
- Carrying out, documenting and reporting all physical, chemical and microbiological analysis.
- Laboratory consumable stock control and order replacement.
- Assisting with Excise documentation.

You should ideally have an Institute of Brewing and Distilling Diploma or an HNC/HND BTEC in a relevant scientific discipline. You will also have at least three/four years brewing experience, which should include time spent in a Quality Control Laboratory.
