Vacancy 1:
Role: Market Development Specialist - Hop Aroma Products
Company: Botanix Limited
Location: Paddock Wood, Kent, UK
Salary: Competitive plus excellent benefits
Closing Date: 25th September 2010.
Botanix has developed an exciting range of Hop Aroma Products. These allow the brewer to alter the flavour of beer and the bitterness of beer independently from one another. This allows for rapid new product development, the ability to produce several variants from one beer stream and to produce some novel effects.
Market demand for these products has been growing well and we have supported this by investments in manufacturing technology, new product development, provision of product information, and improvements to the product range.
We would now like to explore the global opportunity for these products and this is where you come in. Through our parent company and affiliates we already have great channels to market. The main challenge in this role is to work alongside these existing channels to understand current and future needs in order to align our technical support efforts and thus drive the growth.
The role holder will need to develop very effective relationships with senior management and sales management in Botanix, our parent company, affiliates and customers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Define, agree and implement a Business Development Plan to identify customer's business needs and to set out how Botanix will grow long term revenue streams through existing and new product lines.
- Product manage the Aroma Product range to include development of promotion strategy, technical support, product pricing and development of sales channels.
- Develop new markets globally for Botanix's new and existing products, with the support of the Chief Executive, to drive forward Botanix's growth strategy.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to enable a deep understanding of their business, and to facilitate engagement with Botanix at appropriate levels to progress account objectives and to build long term sales opportunities.
- Advise potential and existing clients on the application and suitability of products, working with the Technical Director as appropriate, to generate good working relationships and long term sales opportunities.
This is a key appointment for Botanix which is highly visible and supports the growth ambitions defined as part of our recent strategic review. The job holder will respond directly to the Chief Executive.
The ideal candidate will be degree level qualified, with a brewing industry background, possibly in new product development, and have experience of market introduction of new products. As important will be your personal qualities of drive, integrity, teamwork and a desire to make a positive difference for our customers.
In return, we offer a competitive employment package and a range of employee benefits as well as a positive and interesting work environment.
If this sounds like the right opportunity for you, please forward your CV together with a covering letter explaining what you could bring to Botanix and why you believe yourself to be the right candidate to recruitement@botanix.co.uk. Closing date for applications: 25th September 2010.
