The IBD is a members organisation which is both a
registered educational charity and a company limited by guarantee. The IBD's
Vision Statement is:
The advancement of education and professional development in the sciences and
technologies of brewing, distilling and related industries.
Our global membership is currently around 4,000 and organised into Section
on a geographic basis around the world. So, wherever you are, there is an IBD

The Brewer & Distiller
International
Our full-colour monthly members magazine delivers the latest
industry news and analysis, supported by technical articles with updates
on the latest innovations, together with focused highlights in
brewery/distillery techniques and management. It provides a mix of
essential intelligence for brewing and distilling professional worldwide.
It is a means of giving even wider currency to the proceedings of
conferences, seminars and meetings organised by the IBD.
Journal of the Institute of Brewing
Our quarterly scientific publication containing original research
abstracts is available to all members online via our website, or in paper
form if you would prefer. The Journal of the Institute of Brewing
publishes original scientific papers relative to the brewing, distilling
and fermentation industries, and their raw materials and by products.
Papers are drawn from universities, research institutes and industrial
laboratories worldwide. Each paper published is reviewed before acceptance
by an International Editorial Board.
