Free Access to Journal of the Institute of Brewing (JIB)
Our quarterly scientific publication containing original research abstracts is available to all members online via our website, or in paper form if you would prefer. The Journal of the Institute of Brewing publishes original scientific papers relative to the brewing, distilling and fermentation industries, and their raw materials and by-products. Papers are drawn from universities, research institutes and industrial laboratories worldwide. Each paper published is reviewed before acceptance by an International Editorial Board.

IBD Qualifications
The Institute provides internationally recognised qualifications for Brewers, Distillers & Brewing Scientists. During 2007/8 the IBD successfully introduced a new Diploma in Beverage Packaging which has already received extensive global interest.

IBD Training
The Institute supports the examinations by providing technical training for the individual qualifications. Distance learning courses for Brewing and Packaging are now also available.

Weekly E-Newsletter
To keep members up-to-date on news and events a weekly newsletter is sent out by email.

Technical Advice & Tips
The Institute is the internationally recognised organisation for technical meetings, symposia and conventions around the world.

Networking
Most Sections of the Institute arrange regular technical meetings, plant visits and other member interactive activities within the regions. These are in addition to the larger Conferences, Conventions and Symposia. A fantastic networking opportunities, meeting like minded people.

The Beer Academy
The trade and consumer training arm from the IBD which provides a foundation course in beer and brewing.
