Young Scientist Travel Grants to attend 15th IUFoST World Congress in Cape Town, South Africa

John Coppock and John Hawthorn Memorial Awards
The United Kingdom Federation for Food Science & Technology (UKFFoST) is offering potential financial support in memory of two UK renowned food scientists. The John Coppock Awards aim to encourage young scientists, technologists and food engineers, based in the UK, to travel to and participate in the next World Congress of Food Science & Technology in 2010, to be held in Cape Town, South Africa.
This will provide an important opportunity for career development through meeting eminent world food scientists and participating in the scientific activities of the international community of food scientists and technologists.
Awards will cover partial funding of the costs of attending the Congress. Reduced price registration fees and accommodation for young people are anticipated for the Congress. Following attendance at the Congress, the John Hawthorn Memorial Award will be made to the writer of the best report on benefits gained from attending the meeting.
