Presentation/Prize:
The winner receives a £500 cheque from the Scottish Whisky Association (SWA). An engraved quaiche is supplied by the IBD/Scottish Section. The award is presented at the Scottish Section annual dinner.

Eligibility/Parameters:
This award is given to the candidate with the highest marks in GCD. If the results are tied, then awarded to the candidates with least academic advantage. The Board of Examiners are responsible for selecting the winner, based on examination results.
