Syllabus Content

Over the past year, a major revision of the syllabus and examination format of the IBD Master Brewer qualification has been carried out. For the 2010 Examinations both the new syllabus and existing syllabus will be examined. Candidates who are part way through their Master Brewer can continue with the existing syllabus (for 2010 only) or move to the new syllabus.

New Master Brewer candidates are advised to register for the new syllabus.

Applicants for the New Syllabus
For those who are interested in applying for the new syllabus please download M.Brew Syllabus New Candidates Version 1 August 2009 (found at the bottom of this page).

If you would then like to apply to sit the examination with the new syllabus please download the application form called Master Brewer Application Form June 2010 New Candidates.

Applicants for the Existing Syllabus
For those who are interested in registering for the existing syllabus please download M.Brew Syllabus Existing Candidates Version 1 August 2008 (found at the bottom of this page).

If you would then like to apply to sit the examination with the existing syllabus please download the application form called Master Brewer Application Form June 2010 Existing Candidates.
