We currently have an exciting opportunity for someone with a keen interest in beer to join our team as a Brewer.
The role will be based at our brewery in Market Drayton, Shropshire and is a full time position that requires someone who will generally work 08.00 - 16.30, but must also be willing to start early and finish late on occasions and work weekends on a rota basis.

About the job
As one of our brewers you will be responsible for driving and maintaining high standards within our brewhouse and ensure that our beers are brewed consistently and well. Duties will include milling, mashing, wort production, fermentation control and monitoring, as well as helping the wider team to meet and exceed our customer's expectations.
You will have worked in a brewery environment for several years and have passed or be working towards your brewing diploma, having attained at least one module. You will be completely comfortable around brewing recipes and their formulation and have one or two innovative ideas of your own. You will have a working knowledge of HACCP and realise the importance of keeping meticulous records.You will be a good team player, but not afraid to challenge current work practices, and always have one eye on the top job.
A salary of £25 - £35,000 is offered, commensurate with skills and experience.

Experienced distiller and production genius required to run all things booze related at SWD HQ near Padstow, in north Cornwall.
We are looking for a detail-orientated, highly-motivated and practical individual to operate and manage all aspects of production at our internationally-award winning gin and pastis distillery in north Cornwall.
We're a small, fast-growing and ambitious distillery looking to take the world by storm with our Tarquin's Gin & Cornish Pastis.
Since selling our first bottles back in July 2013, we've won gold medals at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2014 and 2016 and the International Wine & Spirits Competition 2014

Who are we?
Our distillery was founded by Tarquin, 28. A former City analyst who quit his desk job to do something more creative in life.
Though Marc, Tom, Josh and Joe might say the brains behind the operation is Athene, 32. A Chartered Accountant, diving fanatic and older sister to Tarquin.
We're a relaxed and hard-working team. We like to work creatively and efficiently in our company. There is no boardroom, there aren't any rules. If you have initiative, anything is possible.
Where do you fit in?
We are looking for someone to run distilling and operations in the distillery, based near Padstow in north Cornwall.
At the moment we have one 500 litre Green Engineering copper pot still and three 250 litre alembic pot stills. You will be in charge of all aspects of production of our flagship spirits. And there is room for NPD too.
What are the job requirements?
Our ideal candidate will have a degree (or technical qualification) and 2 years+ experience in/with:
- Distilling/Rectifying (or other Excise Trade).
- Quality Control, SALSA / BRC (or similar) accreditation.
- Excise Warehouse Record Keeping, EMCS, AWTD returns

The Main Tasks are:
You will have to work early mornings and conditions may be hot, steamy, noisy and aromatic. You may have to work outdoors in all weathers and there will be elements of standing and heavy lifting.

LOCATION: Stourton, Warwickshire
HOURS: Circa 40 hrs (but must be flexible in order to meet business requirements which will include weekend work, evening work and early starts.
