You are invited to attend the IBD Irish Section Spring Lecture on Friday 23rd March at the Pearse Lyons Distillery.
Noel O’Keeffe will present a lecture titled "Flushing Money down the drain - the challenges of Irish Water's proposed Wastewater pricing policy for Brewers & Distillers and possible innovative cost mitigation solutions".
The lecture will be followed by a short tour of the Pearse Lyons Distillery and refreshments.

About Noel O’Keeffe:
Noel, a civil engineer and former County Engineer for Cork, has many years’ experience on multi-million euro civil projects. Noel headed several substantial projects, including the €75m Fermoy-Mitchelstown section of the M8, the €15m Cobh anti-landslide project, and the main drainage works in Kinsale and Skibbereen which overall cost a combined €60m. He also oversaw the rebuilding of the Mizen Head bridge which won several national and international awards. Noel was subsequently involved in the setting up of the new water utility, Irish Water, and in more recent times has been appointed Group Executive Chairman at Response Group with responsibility for future growth.
