As a Content Author, you will work from your home location yet be part of a virtual team, interfacing closely with the Project Manager. You will ensure the produced material is consistent with the relevant syllabus and is up to date with respect to the latest technology and methods. You must have a passion for writing, and ideally also have experience providing training for packaging professionals. The ideal author can convey accurate content concisely, with a conversational tone that engages our global learners and refers to a range of packaging facility sizes.

This is a short term paid role which requires availability over the next 6-9 months, starting later this year. During the training and intensive authoring phase, it is anticipated that 10-20 hours a week is required, depending on your authoring commitment. During the latter editing/review phases this will reduce, but you will still need to be available to make any required revisions.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who would like to help the IBD achieve its ambition to deliver the most widely known and most respected professional qualifications for brewers, distillers and packagers worldwide. Please contact Adrian James (adrian.james@ibd.org.uk) if you would like to apply as a content author for DP1 or Stuart Howe (stuart.howe@ibd.org.uk) for DP2.
