Dr. Martin Orzinski - Diploma in Packaging Module 1 Tutor

Martin is a trained biotechnology engineer and lean practitioner wit a passion of food & beverage manufacturing.

He has spent over 20 years of his Supply Chain career in various roles like R&D/ NPD, Quality-Environment-Safety, Packaging SME, before he became a senior Operations expert.

Martin has spent more than a decade with a Coca-Cola Bottler (CCEP) across various regions and held a senior executive role as Operations Director responsible for various manufacturing sites, reporting to the country MD.

Before joining CCEP, he led the Engineering & Packaging Institute within the German Research & Teaching Institute (VLB Berlin) where he focused on teaching. consulting & research for the German Brewing Association/ Industry.

In January 2021 he has started ‘Orzinski Consulting’ with a focus on sustainability, lean manufacturing, business transformation and packaging strategy.

Martin holds a ‘Diplom-Ingenieur’ in Brewing with TU Berlin & a PhD in Biotechnology, specializing in Brewing Technology & Packaging.

He is lecturing at the Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP), mentor for the National Association of  Women in Operations (NAWO) & graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).
