Speaker Biography:

Lewis Maschmedt is originally a WA lad and grew up in Margaret River. His brewing career started with Little Creatures at Fremantle in 2011 where he stayed for 18 months. However, as an engineer, he was tempted by the big money available to those who with the right skills to go and work on the oil rigs. Despite the financial benefit, the oil rigs do not provide a basis for happy living, and he soon realized that there was much more happiness in the brewing industry! Having met Jack Cameron at Little Creatures he followed over to SA to join Pirate Life and has since risen to the dizzying heights of Head of Brewing.
