The Journal of the Institute of Brewing

The Journal of the Institute of Brewing (JIB) is an international journal publishing high-quality scientific papers reporting significant research. The scope of the Journal is the brewing and fermentation industries, their raw materials and by-products.

JIB welcomes original papers and review articles dealing with all aspects of  the brewing process and with other related industries, such as cider manufacture and distilling. Should you wish to discuss a potential submission contact the Editor in Chief at david.quain@ibd.org.uk . Papers may be reviews or reports of original investigations that build on existing knowledge. The content must not have been published or accepted for publication elsewhere, and papers must not be under consideration by another journal. Papers are drawn from universities, research institutes and laboratories worldwide. All submissions are sent to two expert reviewers for peer review.
