Megan Sheehy as a New President
The Institute of Brewing & Distilling is delighted to announce Dr Megan Sheehy as the new President. Megan is taking on the role from Bhavya Mandanna and will become the IBD’s second successive female President and the fourth woman in this role in the history of the organisation.

We are delighted to announce that the Institute of Brewing & Distilling (IBD) has been granted chartered status. From 1st January 2024, when the Institute will be incorporated as a chartered organisation, the IBD will be named the Chartered Institute of Brewers and Distillers.
