Have you ever wondered "Why Bother with Quality for Packaging Lines?" Discover the reasons why this topic deserves your attention at the IBD Southern section's latest event!

At this event we will talk about quality in packaging and try and cover the following topics:

  • Levels of quality (starting from zero)
  • The legal minimum
  • Food safety
  • Due diligence
  • Accreditations – recommendations and benefits
  • Packaging quality by line type
  • Specifications
  • Continuous improvements and techniques (3Q, 5Y etc)
  • Process and plant controls (Gemba, internal audit, hygiene, 5S)

If time allows, there may be a panel Q&A and a possible workshop type activity where others can share what Quality systems they have in place.
