IBD Southern Section Annual Banquet-Friday 18^th November- Change of Venue

Due to technical issues with the refrigeration on board HMS Belfast regretfully the IBD Southern section has announced a change of venue.

The dinner will now be held at the iconic Imperial War Museum Atrium in Lambeth at the same time on the same date: Friday, 18th November with drink receptions starting at 18:30.

We apologise for any inconvenience that this change may cause you. The Imperial War Museum is about a 30 min walk from the original HMS Belfast venue and includes recreations of WWI trenches and the Blitz, tanks, planes, and revolving military exhibitions. 

The new venue has a bigger capacity, which means more tickets are available. 

The Southern Section Chairman, Andrew Paterson, invites you to book now and not miss out on a memorable evening, with a four-course banquet with beers matched to each course and cask beers beforehand, all supplied by Section members.

This invitation is for all the IBD Members who would like to celebrate awards, and network at the dinner in a relaxed environment with great beer and lovely food. Navy Strength Rum matured over Oak Staves from HMS Victory as a joint venture between IOW Distillery and HMS Victory will be available to purchase. 

Attendees will have access to the Imperial War Museum prior to the dinner starts. This includes recreations of WWI trenches and the Blitz, tanks and planes and revolving military exhibitions. 

The Chairman has again recommended we dress to impress.
